Abstract
Recently, a shampoo-type, a bubble-type and a mousse-type hairdye containing surfactant were launched. Because these kinds of hairdye contain surfactant which makes bubble, they are convenient for dyeing and feel much nicer to the touch. However, there were no researches on dyeing performance and hair damage caused by oxidized alkali-hairdye containing surfactant under the conditions such as time and temperature. Also, there were many claims from customers because of weak dyeing performance. So, this study compared degrees of hair damage and color sustainability in proportion to the surfactant content under various times and temperatures by applying oxidized alkali-hairdye to gray hairConclusively, the experimental condition of alkali-oxidized hairdye containing 15% surfactant, 25¡ÆC, 20min dyeing showed the best dyeing performance, least hair damage and best dyeing sustamability based on data of brightness, redness, yellowness, chroma, color tone, ¡âE.
